4 Kinds of Uses for Time Biblically

Daily: Throughout the Bible, dark part first, as in Genesis ch. 1 – evening (dark) and morning (daylight)= a day. Weekly: – Perpetual (no interruption nor addition of days) 6 days of work, one of Sabbath rest. NOT A CALENDAR. It was set by the manna, and never again lost (required for Commandment keeping).

Monthly: Modified Gayle Chase CALENDAR, to fit a 365-day solar year. It is a Luni-solar, 29 day-per-month calendar. The MONTHS are NUMBERED (first month, second month, etc. by New Crescent Moon days, according to “one new moon to another” as it will be used in heaven in the garden of Eden (Isaiah 66:23) A 30th day is added to each month (for the “new moons”) at the end of each YEAR, to fit the 365-day solar year very well. The “new moon” day is counted as day 1, according to the precedent set by the 14th day after the “new crescent moon” for Yahshua’s crucifixion! That “new moon” was COUNTED as day one for the NEW YEAR 1ST MONTH. New crescent moon months are 29.44 days, and since they are used for setting the festivals part-year calendar, the 30th day-per-month is “silent” till the end of the year. Then, these 12 “new moon days” are added to their luni-solar calendar. The next calendar year start is re-set by the first new crescent moon after the Equinox, correcting slight differences per year. Prophetic Year: NOT A CALENDAR – ALWAYS a 360-DAY YEAR AND a 30 DAY MONTH, for use for prophecy only. Noah’s 150 days (Genesis 7:24) is not simply counted days, or he would have counted 147 and ½ days, by modified Gayle’s calendar. He was using the prophecy timing BECAUSE THE 150 DAYS IS A TYPE, WITH AN ANTI-TYPE IN THE LAST DAYS. Note: during last days, since 1844 (7th Trumpet begins) it will be LITERAL TIME because prophetic “year for a day” timing ended then, according to Revelation 10, vs. 6,7. We are in the Premillenial Judgment time, for Yahshua’s reward for the saints “is with Me”- Revelation 22:12 (at His Coming). Could the ANTI-TYPE be the duration of the 7 Last Plagues, a parallel of the FINAL JUDGMENT of the world??? Five months, 150 days, is used also in the 5th Trumpet – Revelation 9:5. Feast Days: are set (twice each year) by the new crescent moon. This is only a 7 month part of modified Gayle’s calendar, for feast timing use only. The new year is set by the “new (crescent) moon,” and is counted as day 1, up to day 14, when the Passover Lamb was to be sacrificed. Passover [FIRST FEAST] (a holy convocation – a ceremonial Sabbath on the 15th day of the first month) – see Exodus 12:18, 23, 29; WITH the Feast of Unleavened Bread [SECOND FEAST] – also beginning on the 15th, (with its “holy convocation” ceremonial Sabbath at the END of its 7 feast days); followed by Pentecost [THIRD FEAST] 50 days from the 1st day after the Passover ceremonial Sabbath (changing day every year)[wave sheaf day] that Yahshua fulfilled by going to the Father, after he left Mary Magdalene, first thing in the morning. These are the SPRING FEASTS. FALL FEASTS; For the second time, the crescent moon is watched for, as the seventh month approaches. It is a time when the weather is clear and dry, a time for harvesting the fruit – grapes and olives. The crescent moon identifies the first day of the seventh month, the day of the feast of the Trumpets [FOURTH FEAST]. The “evening and the morning” make up the day, throughout Biblical time. In the evening, the crescent is sighted, and in the morning they blew the trumpets, warning that in 10 days would come the feast of Atonement [FIFTH FEAST] (this one a reminder of during the plagues). The people were to “afflict their souls” searching their hearts, if there was any sin not confessed and covered by the blood of the Lamb, till the day of Atonement, when the past sins of the whole year would be “cleansed” (see LeviticusChapter 16 especially v. 30), both from the Sanctuary, and from their hearts. Then, the 15th day of the seventh month, came the feast of Tabernacles, [SIXTH FEAST] (with its “holy convocation,” ceremonial Sabbath, at its beginning, like it was done for the feast of Passover) for 7 days, the reminder of their having escaped from Egypt, across the Red Sea, and thereafter lived in tents and booths (shelters made of branches if they didn’t have a tent), and all of their needs (food and water) were supplied by their God. On the 8th day [SEVENTH FEAST], another “holy convocation” ceremonial Sabbath (see Leviticus 23:36, 39b) that Great day, that symbolized their arrival in the Promised Land. These are the 7 feasts of the Lord their God, memorials of the Exodus from Egypt. Every feast has meaning for all believers, till we arive in heaven!
