02_07 Preconception is the Mother of False Theories

Preconception: Dictionary definition: An idea or opinion, formed or conceived, in advance of careful investigation.

For this study, please READ every Scripture reference, without fail, to let the Word speak to you. How are all of these proof-texts found? – By the Bible study method given by Holy Spirit Himself, in the Bible (Isaiah 28:9 -13. READ) That text is exceedingly important. Look what happened to Israel, by the time of Jesus, because the Jews would not hear! That text requires the use of a Complete Concordance, a text finder given by God’s Providence. The power that kept the Bible from the people, for 1260 years! (the Papacy) was removed by Napoleon’s army, in 1798, right on time, by that 1260 day (a day-for-a-year in prophecy) time prophecy (Rev. 12:6. READ). [Papal Rule began in 538].

The British Bible Society was up and running, by 1805, Providentially distributing the King James Version of the Bible throughout the British Empire (most of the world). The KJV has since been translated into every language in the world! And, the Concordance, specific to the KJV, was Providentially supplied with it! That combination of events, caused ‘the Great Awakening,’ world-wide, of Bible religion of the 1840’s. The Bible Study Method, given in Isaiah 28, is only clearly written, in the KJV! This study (using the KJV) is based on that method of Bible Study.

Title: Are the 10 Commandments Still Binding, Today? Is the Sabbath also Still Binding?

Something was wrong with the Covenant, in 10 Commandments, given to the people of Israel, at Sinai. That problem continued until Jesus Came, as Messiah. Was there anything wrong with God’s side of that Covenant? [Dictionary: Covenant: An agreement entered into by two or more persons or parties: a compact.] No. There was nothing wrong with God’s side of that Covenant! What was wrong with it? (Hebrews 8:6 -13. READ).

When Jesus, the Son of God (John 1:33,34. READ) made the New Covenant with humankind (not just with Israel), Jesus Himself, as a MAN, fulfilled the New Covenant, taking upon Himself the sins of mankind, upon the cross (He, Himself, was sinless, throughout His life as a man). He became the Lamb of God, sacrificed for the sins of all mankind! – the Divine Substitute for the death penalty for sin (Romans 6:23. READ). THIS is the reason that the New Covenant (Hebrews 10:4 -17. READ), is written in our hearts as well as in our minds! We become very grateful for what the God-head, the “Elohim” went through, to guarantee that we can be saved from our sins (Mt. 1:21. READ). We learn to Love the Elohim (which is a plural form of the Hebrew word for God) by that gratefulness.

God’s side of the Covenant, therefore, is still the 10 Commandment Law in the New Covenant. When we are converted, we must make the New Covenant with Jesus (and the whole God-head). We pledge to Keep His Commandments (which we can only do, if He helps us!) (Phil. 2:12, 13. READ). This legal agreement is the Plan of Salvation! What is the Bible definition of sin? Few ever check that out! ‘Line upon line,’ from the Complete Concordance, gives us 1 John 3:4, with the piece of the verse, that sets it out as the answer: “sin is the transgression…” READ. If the 10 Commandment Law of God is no longer binding, then Jesus cannot save us from our sins! (Mt. 1:21. READ). If a church doesn’t teach that, it is failing its congregation (Hosea 4:6. READ). NOTICE: “…seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God…” in that verse! Thankfully, most people inherently KNOW that sin is the breaking of the Law of God when it is pointed out to them!!

The 10 Commandments are written in stone, by the finger of God Himself, at Sinai (Exodus 31:18. READ). They are unchangeable! (though the Papacy has tried to change them (Daniel 11:30. READ). When? The Bishop of the Christian Church, at Rome, had “intelligence” (a strategy conference) with Roman Emperor Constantine, and decided to change the 4th Commandment Sabbath (the seventh day of the week) to the Pagan worship day of the sun, the first day of the week, and deceptively called it “the Christian Sabbath.” Thus the Bishops (later called Popes) “forsake the Holy Covenant!!” That was in 321 A.D.

The Sabbath is the Fourth Commandment! In 325, just 4 years later, that same Bishop created, and instituted worship of, an IDOL of MARY! – [research by Doug Batchelor, Pastor of the 7th-day Adventist television ministry, Amazing Facts]. The Popes had to REMOVE the Second Commandment, from their Catechism (which they replace the Bible with, for the people of the Catholic Church). The Elohim hate IDOLS !!! (Deut. 16:22. READ). The IDOL of MARY is the IMAGE of the Beast.

BABYLON THE GREAT, MOTHER OF HARLOTS [in the Bible a “woman” is symbolically a church (Jeremiah 6:2; Isaiah 47:1) READ], SHE is the Papal Church, and her children are the denominations that were born of her, in the Reformation (Rev. 17: entire chapter, with emphasis on vs. 5, 6: 9, 18. The Ten Commandments, with the Fourth Commandment Sabbath, are the principles that govern eternal life. They shall never be changed by God.

Now we can study 2 major texts of Scripture that are used by many denominations (harlot daughters) to do away with the Sabbath, and even the 10 Commandments! They are: Ephesians 2:12-18, READ: and, Colossians 2:8 -21. READ.

These “hand written” (by Moses) “Ordinances” are ceremonial laws, including circumcision, sacrifices for sin (and several other things) and ceremonial cleansing (touch not, taste not, handle not). When Jesus died on the cross of Calvary, Father-God Himself tore the veil in the Sanctuary Temple, in two, from top to bottom! That signified that all of the ceremonial laws ENDED that very hour! All of the sacrifices of the Ceremonial System, pointed toward the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross! (though the Jews continued to practice all of these things, till 70 A.D. when the Temple was summarily destroyed by Rome).

The apostle Paul wrote these things to these two churches (shared by all other churches) to “Let no man judge you (in reference to those sacrificial offerings, that were now done away with) in ‘meat’ (food offerings) or drink (wine offerings, required for your sacrifices for sin etc.) or in respect of an holyday (Festival Sabbath offerings) – holy convocations – Leviticus 23; READ what God says, vs. 1-4); or, of the new moon, or, of the Sabbath days, which are a shadow of things to come, but the body is of Christ! He is what replaces them, on the cross!

How do I know that that is what is referred to? I compare line with line, using those key words, in the Complete Concordance [I recommend Cruden’s Concordance, because it is a simple text-finder. It shows every place in the Bible that each word is used, beginning with Genesis, all the way through Revelation, with a part of each text added, for ease of finding the relevant text to your question].

There are 2 texts that use the same key words that are used in Colossians 2, v. 16. Most relevant to the apostle Paul’s admonition, about the sacrifices to do with Festival holy days, sacrifices for new moons, and sacrifices for 7th day Sabbaths, is 2 Chronicles 31:3. READ. In reverse order (not uncommon in the Bible) it speaks of burnt offerings for the Sabbaths (every Sabbath at the Temple), and for the new moons, and for the set Feasts, as it is written in the law of the Lord. [Those Ordinances, are written in the Torah – the Book Moses wrote]. Each of those offerings have food and drink parts to go with the animal burnt offerings. It is to these that Paul is referring in Col. 2:16, because we know that he is not referring to removal of the Sabbath, or any one of the 10 Commandments, such as the Fourth Commandment Sabbath. Those burnt offerings were no longer required to be done, by anyone! Jesus was nailed to the cross of Calvary, replacing every offering of the Ceremonial Law, that pointed to Him! NOTE: Daniel 9, verse 27. READ. He caused the sacrifices to cease, by His sacrifice on the cross! Therefore, ‘let no man judge you’ for not doing them any more!

The other text, found by comparing ‘line with line,’ in the Concordance, is Is. 66:23. READ. There, the offerings are notably not mentioned, as also the Festivals – as the context, in the verse preceding, is in the new heavens and the new earth “which I will make.” “And it shall (future) come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before Me, saith the Lord.” As in Col. 2:17, READ, the offerings are ‘a shadow of things to come’ (in that future referred to in Is. 66:22); but the body (the real sacrifice of the Lamb of God, pointed to by all of the other sacrifices) is of Christ. In the Communion Service, the unleavened bread is the ‘body’ of Jesus, “which is broken for you.”

Another text, found in Is. 1:13, 14, READ; in the context of the iniquity of the Jewish people, God declared that He “…is weary to bear” their “new moons, and Sabbaths,” and, “your appointed feasts.” There they all are, again, including ‘oblations,’ and even ‘incense,’ “which is an abomination unto Me.” READ the whole context, to v.28.

Therefore, having considered these things, by seeking out their use in other texts, ‘line upon line,’ we cannot try to twist them to say that the Sabbath, or the 10 Commandments, have been “done away with,” as many profess. If you try to get rid of the Sabbath, which is the Fourth Commandment, you have to get rid of the 10 Commandments also!!! Beware these false teachers!

Look again at how the true gospel works: reference the doc The Plan of Salvation from the website prophecybyjesus.com . “Sin is the transgression of the Law” (1 John 3:4 – read the rest of that small but important book by the apostle John). Without the Commandments, there is no Covenant with God for our salvation from sin!!

God has re-established the keeping of the Sabbath as a requirement for Christians since the Dark Ages ended! It’s a Commandment! Twice, in Revelation, the ‘remnant’ of the seed of the pure woman (church) “…keep the Commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” (Rev. 12:17, context last days. READ). The other, in Rev. 14:12, READ, context 3 Angel’s Messages! “Here is the patience of the saints; here are they that keep the Commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus” (faith in the Bible as the Word of God).

Only the 7th-day Adventist Church is presently preaching these messages of the Three Angels, with the Everlasting Gospel, that has been lost by almost all of Christianity, and now of the Fourth Angel’s message, in Rev. 18:1-5. READ.

In this time of the Judgment, since 1844, whose side will YOU be on: those who believe and study the Scriptures, for themselves, or, those who war against them, on Satan’s side? Man’s probation is soon to close on the living, with the declaration in heaven, written in Rev. 22:11, READ, and, after the Seven Last Plagues release the children of God from the oppression of the wicked, Jesus will Return, to lead us to the ultimate Promised Land!!

Another smaller, but important example of Preconception:

Our world-view, aided by the revelations, in photos, by the Hubble Telescope, from out in space, is very likely much different than that of Moses, who wrote the book of Genesis. We tend to preconceive that the two would be the same; but there is lots of evidence that it was not. As we look at the world-view of the Middle Ages, we can see that all three world-views may be quite dis-similar. That of the Middle Ages, you remember, was that the universe rotated around our world, rather than us rotating around our tiny star-sun, within an exceedingly large galaxy. Their view of the heavens above was restricted to mainly our solar system, not perceiving of a galaxy beyond their view.

Why is that important? It is because we, in the back of our mind, think that all that Creation that we are aware of, could be too much even for God to accomplish in just 6 literal days! Thus, today, we have lots of people who think that the Bible record of Creation is a fable, putting the truthfulness of the whole Bible in question.

So, let’s look at a possible world-view for Moses that might have been much smaller than ours.

It is possible that Moses also conceived of the heavens as rotating around the earth. But he might have conceived that all that was rotating around our earth, was like a flat picture going by, just outside our atmosphere! The sizes of the stars in that picture may have only been that to him – different sizes on the picture. Even planets could have been understood as only bigger stars, not closer ones. Yes, God could have given him a world-view at least as true as our own, but you see the possibilities.

Therefore, let us consider another understanding of the words of Genesis, chapter 1.  “In the beginning, God Created the heaven and the earth.”  There was not yet a sun, nor stars: only a planet, earth. An asteroid, if you will, covered with unending water. Now start a new beginning: not of a universe so immense as we know is there, but a dark empty space with a little less-dark spot in the middle of it. Couldn’t it have been that that is all there was “In the beginning” as the picture first seen by Moses? Then God would have only been Creating starting with that! That would make it quite feasible, to our mind now, for God to have accomplished His Creation of the heaven (note the singular form of the word) and the earth.

God made light, that all might be clearly seen by Moses. Not yet sun and stars, just light.  …“and God divided the light from the darkness.” – started the earth spinning on its axis and showed Moses a bit of the dark side?  “And God called the light day, and the darkness He called night.”

And that much was the first day.

What do you think of our preconceived world-view now? What about the flat earth society of our day? Haven’t they simply embraced a different world-view than ours? A preconceived world-view drastically affects our perception of what the Bible says, doesn’t it?

Then God Created an atmosphere around the earth. Not an earth in the midst of a whole universe; He had not yet Created the stars! See verses 14 to 19.

Remember that Jesus was Creating a NEW universe, for Himself to have dominion over. See Daniel 7, verses 13 and 14. Think about it. The Father already had a universe that He has dominion over. Now the Son was building a new universe that He, Jesus, and His redeemed people, will have co-dominion over, as it was in Eden before Satan and the sin of man, modified the Plan.

“And God called the firmament (atmosphere) heaven (first heaven). And the evening and the morning were the second day.”  Please note: the really big things God took a whole day to perform.

Now He takes a part of a day to gather the earth (land) together and dry it, and then Creates foliage and trees, two major accomplishments, making up the third day.

Here is where Jesus begins to Create the heavens that surround the new earth(second heaven). The sun is placed to shine upon the earth and the moon to help give light upon the earth at night. And stars are added. Which stars? Not the whole universe. Likely those stars that make up constellations, which together tell the story of the God-head’s Plan to reclaim the earth from Satan’s rule. These rotate past the view of the (future) oppressed people of God, to give them hope of the end of Satan. (Astrology is simply a perversion of astronomy, in an attempt to hide astronomy’s true meanings).

Thus ends the fourth day, already looking forward to the Creation of man for whom it is all made.

Now you may see that it is most likely that the story here in Genesis chapter 1 is almost entirely about the earth and its environs, not about the universe later Created around that.

The fish, and the creatures of the seas, and the birds that fly above are next, for the fifth day. The sixth day includes all of the creatures on the land, and also the man it was all Created for. He is given dominion over the whole Created earth, and all living things are made able to multiply themselves, and develop varieties of each kind. It is now known that each created kind had the genetic structure to produce a myriad of variations within its kind. Thus, when Adam was called to  name them, the number of kinds would be a lot more likely manageable than we are prone to think possible. We now also know, from the study of geology, that all living things appeared, fully developed, together at one time. They all suddenly appear in one geologic level. A fish is a fish, a dog is a dog (wolf kind), a turtle is a turtle, etc. Yes, a whale is a whale too! Science, falsely so called, constantly tries to refute the Bible and get rid of the concept of a Creator/designer God, but such “science” has now reduced itself to believing that all things started from the explosion of “nothing” which became all things! (Big “bang” theory).

The Bible is God’s book; a revealing of Himself as Creator God, and a revealing of the true understanding of so many things. Bible prophecy is the top proof that He is God, the Creator who knows the end from the beginning. Only God can know that! It is time to humbly believe.
