Introduction to Chapter 01
The major two books of prophecy are Daniel, in the Old Testament, and Revelation, in the New Testament. Daniel contains a prophetic time-line that begins in Daniel’s time and extends through history to the Second Coming of Jesus and beyond. Revelation contains an overlapping prophetic time-line, from the time of Jesus and His disciples, through history to the same Second Coming of Jesus and beyond.
Where are we on that prophetic time-line? This question is crucial because we will see that we are now already in “the hour of God’s Judgment” at “the time of the end!”
(Judgment has been reserved till the end time.) We will learn that the Investigative
Judgment (from the “books” in heaven) shortly precedes the Second Coming of Jesus in power and great glory! This Chapter contains the proofs, in detail, of these facts.
The studies in this educational Seminar series are purposely put into mainly short
documents, so that each one will cover a major facet of the information, in detail, but in little “sound bites” that break up the big subject into learnable small parts. Almost all of the studies are also put in SERMON form. You may want to preach them yourself, with the writer’s blessing! The SERMON form is downloadable in PAMPHLET form, so that they may be distributed, Chapter by Chapter, 10 Chapters in all, in your own Bible Study group! Each PAMPHLET is easily photo-copyable to share with other interested people that you find. This is especially my desire, that their distribution by this method may exponentially spread their important information. By that I mean that each person that studies them might distribute them to several others, who, in turn, could distribute them to several more in their own Bible Study group, and thus from one, many might be reached!
In Chapter 1, the first document of the series, #01_01, The Three Signs of Jesus’ soon Second Coming, gives the astounding history of the fulfillment of each of these signs, in their order, in relatively recent history! The return of Jesus is “the blessed hope” of the Christian! Yet, these historical fulfillments have been IGNORED by Christianity in our time! Jesus is, relative to man’s probationary time, (six thousand years) very soon to come!
The Three Signs of the Soon Return of Jesus in the Second Coming
Where are we in the Biblical time-line of history? Are we at the very end of it? The following answers that question authoritatively. Jesus is soon to return! Prophecy, by Jesus Himself, has foretold it, and history, relatively recent history, has confirmed that He is “at the very doors!”
Please read with me, right now, Mt.24:29-33 and Rev. 6:12,13. Turn first to Mt. 24, verses 29 to 33:
“Immediately after the tribulation of those days (which we today know as the ‘Dark Ages,’) – Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Now learn a parable of the fig tree: when his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: so likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors!”
Now, the parallel text, with one more detail, Revelation chapter 6:12 and 13:
“I beheld when He had opened the sixth seal, and lo, there was a great earthquake: and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; and the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.”
These are parallel texts and here are their fulfillments, in relatively recent history, which we don’t hear about in our public-school history classes. We do study ancient history, but these stupendous events, which fore-tell the return of our Lord Jesus, have been ignored! Here are the historic fulfillments of the signs!
The Lisbon Earthquake,
November, 1755, affected four million square miles! 90,000 people perished in Lisbon alone. A great number of cities were completely destroyed. The worst hit were Spain, Portugal, and North Africa. It was reported that it was felt even in North America!
25 years later followed…The Dark Day; and the Moon like Blood: May 19, 1780. Darkness covered the entirety of New England (early America) from 10 in the morning till 1 a.m. the next night. People were filled with fear that the Judgment day was at hand, a very general opinion. The full moon appeared finally, but was the color of blood! There was no mistaking this sign! But, 53 years passed before the last sign.
The excitement and interest had been forgotten.
The Stars of Heaven Fell… November 13, 1833 – a meteorite shower of such magnitude, and sizes of individual meteors, that it brought to mind immediately, “The stars of heaven fell unto the earth even as a fig tree casts her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.”
This was the third sign, fulfilled just two years after a farmer-turned-preacher began to proclaim the Advent near (the Second Coming of Christ)! This man unsealed the prophecy of Daniel’s 2300 days, (from Daniel 8:14) and proclaimed that it would be ending in 1843, with the Coming of Jesus in power and Judgment! “…the hour of His Judgment is come!” Rev. 14:6,7. What was to follow the three signs? “And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.” Rev. 6:14.
We are right between these two verses, in the prophetic time-line!
When the next verse is fulfilled, there shall be but two groups living upon the earth. The one group, “…the kings of the earth, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; and said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: for the great day of His wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?'” Rev. 6:15-17.
The other group shall exclaim, “…Look! This is our God; we have waited for Him, and He will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for Him, and we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation!” Isaiah 25:9.
NOTE WELL: In the words of Christ, the Second Coming is “at the very doors!” (Mt. 24:33) It is time to decide which group you will be in. Today is the day of salvation!
Document # 01_02; The Bible’s Greatest Prophecy, overviews the history of the unfolding of both Daniel and Revelation, as the key to understanding them was discovered, revealed to men from the Bible by Holy Spirit working on the minds of men, when God had prepared the historical way. The knowledge of this history is critical to all of your growth in the spiritual realm of your life from this point forward. It is the DOOR to the heavenly realm, opened by God Himself!
In the past, in the failures of His people to enter in, God Himself has stated: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because you have rejected knowledge, I will reject you, that you shall not be a priest [teacher of doctrine] for Me: seeing that you have forgotten the Law of your God, I will also forget your children!” Hosea 4:6. Read the chapter from the beginning for context. This is too true of today’s Christianity!
A major question: Why has Jesus not yet come, in the clouds of glory? For many, this is an excuse to disbelieve. But for the true Christian, the realization is building that Jesus could have come, before now, but the reason He has not is that His people have not made themselves ready!
Please read Revelation 19:1 to 9, to get a feel for the truth of this realization!
You will see here, in this educational website, that there are specific gospel Messages for our time in the prophecy time-line. As we learn these Messages, in detail here, I believe we will be made ready, by learning them, and soon, by proclaiming them to our world! Jesus is waiting to pour out His Spirit in the Latter Rain (that you will learn about) upon those who are thus made ready. This is not a boast. This is my settled conviction! We must know our God-given Message, from Revelation, so that Jesus can use us to “prepare the way of the Lord,” which will make us ready! You can learn, here in this web page, what it has taken many, including myself, a life-time to learn. You can learn it in as little as ten weeks, thanks to the written pages herein! The Bible’s Greatest Prophecy
Are you aware that you will be brought before God and face a video record of the events of your life? There is a belief in most of Christianity today that the whole of the Plan of Salvation was wrapped up in the cross of Christ. Because Jesus died for our sins, any sin we commit, they believe, Jesus automatically forgives and “there is
therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.”
They had better read the rest of the text – “…who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” Romans 8:1. The context speaks volumes. Verse 4 – “That the righteousness of the Law might be fulfilledin us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” And verses 12 to 14 – “Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh, for if you live after the flesh, you shall die: but if you, through the Spirit, do mortify the deeds of the body, you shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”
The Law of God, in Ten Commandments, was not nailed to the cross. The sacrifices of “the law contained inordinances” – HANDWRITTEN by Moses, were nailed to the cross. Colossians 2:14: “…blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us,which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross.”
If you didn’t bring a sacrifice, the wages of sin, death, would be proclaimed against you in the yearly Judgment day, the Day of Atonement! Jesus became “the Lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world.” John 1:29. All other sacrifices ended when Jesus took their place, nailed to that cruel cross!
The Bible teaches, a thousand times, if you are not blinded, that the Law of God defines sin, and to be saved we must stop sinning by submission to Jesus in us! First John 3:4, is the Bible definition of sin: “Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the Law: for sin is the transgression [breaking] of the Law.” Let’s also look especially to the words of Jesus Himself in Matthew 19, the latter part of verse 17: “If thou wilt enter into life, keep the Commandments.” Which? Verse 18, Jesus continued, saying, “Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”
Do you need more quoted? Jesus says, “He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment: and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before His angels.” Revelation 3:5. Here’s another powerful one: “Blessed are they that do His Commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.” Rev. 22:14.
Friend, the Bible teaches that we must KEEP the Commandments of God. “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that KEEP the Commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus” [faith in the written Word of God]. Revelation 14:12.
To overcome Satan, Jesus answered every temptation in the wilderness with, “It is Written.”
Further, the Bible teaches: “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the Judgment…” Hebrews 9, verse 27. When is the Judgment? There is a Judgment Hour in the end of the world. “Fear God and give glory to Him: for the hour of His Judgment is come: and worship Him that made (Created) heaven and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.” Rev. 14:7. This “hour” is at the end of the 2300 days prophecy, the Bible’s Greatest Prophecy, as you will see herein! We are in that Judgment Hour!
Now, who, in all the universe, is honest enough, and fair enough, understands you enough, and loves you enough, to be your perfect Judge?
NO ONE BUT JESUS
He knows our frame, for he became a man, born into a human nature devolved down through 4,000 years! Did you know that He not only created you, but he died for you and He will one day be your judge? He has a special interest in you because He made you, and because He bought you with His own life! Or think of it this way – the One who will Judge you is the One who gave the Law, and then, when you broke the Law, He paid the penalty (death) in your place! He is the eternal FATHER, who loves you, His child, His son or daughter, even to the giving of His own life,to save you! Could anyone ask for a better Judge? He wants you to have eternal life, with Him! He wants to be your eternal FATHER: He Created you!
When Jesus stood before Pilate that black Friday morning, few understood the significance of His trial.
* Pilate thought he was judging Jesus. He told Jesus that he held Christ’s destiny in his hands.
* The priests and the rulers thought that at last they had Jesus in their power.
* The mob thought they were deciding His fate.
One day the circumstances will be reversed. Pilate, the priests and rulers, the mob, and all of us – every man, woman, and child – will stand trial in heaven’s court. And the question that will decide our eternal destiny is,
WHAT DID YOU DO WITH JESUS?
Today we open God’s Book and look at the Bible’s Greatest Prophecy.
1. Is it true that Jesus, rather than God the Father, will be our judge?
John 5:22: “For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment
unto the Son.”
2. What does the apostle Paul say about the Judgment?
2 Corinthians 5:10: “We must all appear before the Judgment seat of Christ.”
3. When Jesus comes again, what does He bring with Him?
Revelation 22:12: “And behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give
every man according as his work shall be.
But how could Jesus bring His reward with Him for every man, if every man’s case is not already decided? Apparently, every case must be investigated and decided before Jesus comes!
As Jesus began His ministry, He said, “The time is fulfilled.” Mark 1:15. The day before His crucifixion, he affirmed, “My time is at hand.” Matthew 26:18. Is it possible that a prophetic countdown was taking place? Did Jesus live and die according to a prophetic clock?
Yes, He did! Let’s turn to the prophet Daniel, and discover a little problem in arithmetic – with Jesus right in the middle of it!
4. A very important prophecy was given through Daniel. What was it? Daniel 8:14:
“Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.”
From Numbers 14:34 and Ezekiel 4:6, we learn that a “day” in symbolic prophecy represents a literal year. A number of Biblical scholars accept this year-for-a-“day” principle of prophetic interpretation as valid for all time prophecies, including Daniel’s vision. Based on this, then,we have here a prophecy describing 2300 literal years of time.
5. How did the angel explain the first part of this prophecy? Daniel 9:24: “Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people.”
So we have seventy weeks, times seven days to a week = 490 prophetic days, or 490 literal years. For 490 years the Hebrews were to remain God’s chosen people. But then they would be Judged! (see doc. 01_03)
6. When did the 490 years, and of course the 2300 years also, begin? Daniel 9:25: “From the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem, unto the Messiah the Prince, shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks.” This is the time prophecy referred to by Jesus! Mark 1:15! Here are 69 (7 plus 62) of those 70 weeks…unto Messiah – Jesus! – 483 days, or 483 literal years, that date from a decree to restore Jerusalem.
The decree that fits the prophecy is the one by King Artaxerxes, a king of Medo-Persia, recorded in the Bible in the book of Ezra, chapter 7, which went into effect in the fall of the year 457 B.C. 483 years from that decree should, and absolutely does, take us to “the Messiah.” In the fall of A.D. 27, John baptized Jesus, and He
began His ministry as the Messiah! This application of the “year-for-a-prophetic day” principle, “…seal[ed] up the vision and prophecy.” Dan. 9:24.
7. One week of the seventy weeks remains. When does it say the Messiah would be “cut off” (Daniel 9:26) and “cause the sacrifice and oblation to cease?” Daniel 9:27:
“In the midst of the week.” Halfway through the seven-year period left, in the Spring of A.D. 31, Jesus died on Calvary’s cross, fulfilling the prophecy just as predicted!
At the end of the 490 years – three and a half years later – at the time of the stoning of Stephen in the fall of A.D. 34, work among the Jews ceased and the gospel began to be preached to the Gentiles. Acts 8:1-5: “And Saul was consenting unto his [Stephen’s] death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles. And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him. As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women, committed them to prison. Therefore they that were scattered abroad went everywhere, preaching the word.
“Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria [well known as the city of Jews who had mingled themselves – through marriage – with Gentiles, and were despised by the Pharisees] and [Philip] preached Christ unto them.”
These two events – the death of the Messiah, and the stoning of Stephen – leave 1810 years remaining of the 2300 year prophecy, and bring us to the fall of 1844 – relatively close to our day! This, incidentally, is the last date from time prophecy that we know of in the Bible. But what was to happen in 1844? Daniel said the Sanctuary would be “cleansed.” What does this mean?
In the earthly Jewish Sanctuary service, the High Priest went into the Most Holy Place, the most sacred room, only once a year. This was for a special service on the yearly Day of Atonement, which was considered a cleansing of the Sanctuary from the people’s sins that had been confessed and accumulated during that year. In fact, the Jews viewed it as a yearly day of Judgment. No sin must remain unconfessed beyond that date. The entire Sanctuary service represented, in type, the plan of salvation – the work of Jesus for us in the heavenly Sanctuary!
What happened in 1844 was that Jesus commenced that new phase of His mediatorial work as mankind’s Saviour. He began investigating the records in heaven of every individual who ever professed to be His follower. From Adam on down, every case must be decided.
And the Judgment, when He finished with the dead, would pass to the living!
We have no way of knowing when that transition will take place, but when the cases of everyone living and dead have been decided, Jesus will conclude this phase of the atonement for mankind, and prepare to return immediately to this earth.

8. What decree will go forth just before Jesus comes?
Rev.22:11: “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.”
And then our Lord will come!!
The messages of the three angels of Revelation 14:6 to 12, God’s final appeals to mankind – would begin to be preached right around the year 1844. For then, “the hour of His Judgment is come!” Right on schedule, the Messages began to sound. They have been preached ever since. You are hearing them now!
9. What gives special urgency to the words of the first angel?
Rev. 14:7: “Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His Judgment is come.”
Why are we to give glory to God? Because the “hour of his Judgment is come.” And if ever it was important to get our worship straight, it is during the time of the Judgment!!

Great Babylon, which represents the confusion of doctrine in all of the churches, has found them all FALLEN!! God started a new movement to call you “out of darkness into His marvellous light!” (First letter of Peter, chapter 2, v. 9). The Bible story of the city and tower of Babylon is the Biblical illustration of confusion. There God confused their language so that all thought the other “babbled!”

I want You to say that I accepted the sacrifice You made in my place and that all of my sins have been forgiven – because I do accept it now. Amen.

All of the major denominations of Christianity were Judged, by God, in 1844, and were FOUND FALLEN! All had partaken of false doctrines that have led the people of God, in them, into sin!
How can this be??
This fifth study in the series, # 01_05, The Day of Christ is at Hand, reveals the long history of the downward slide by God’s people into apostasy. Excuses aside, they changed the very Commandments of God! The “Dark Ages” were the doleful result! The Reformation was a climb back up into the Light, but over time, it revealed its fatal flaw. Men could not reform the church from within. Though much Light was revealed, and it was commendable for that, the full return to the real Commandments of God was, and is, the only real Reformation that could succeed.
This the churches would not do. Will you? Will you personally be part of the
solution, rather than part of the problem? Choose, as we progress through this
study. Today, you will not be alone. A MOVEMENT to do just that, developed in the years just following 1844, and is today alive and well, world-wide!
Scripture Text: 2 Thessalonians 2:1-8 [Read!]
Title: “The day of Christ” is at hand!
The apostle Paul stated categorically that “that day [the Second Coming of Christ] shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; who opposes, and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he, as God, sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” Jesus would not come till the man of sin was revealed. He has long since been revealed, as you shall now see. Read carefully!
In 1798, the Papal religio-political system, which was suspected of being the Biblical “beast” of Rev.14:9 (the Third Angel’s Message) by the Protestant reformers, was given a “mortal wound” by Napoleon’s army. The head of that system, the pope, was stripped of his kingdom. No longer was he ruler of Rome (and of the kings of all Europe). He was also stripped of his long-ages-held power to persecute true Christians who dared to disagree with his dogmas [his enforced teachings – Biblical or not]. When he was “taken out of the way,” exactly 1260 years after the Papacy received his power as “the corrector of heretics” from the Roman Emperor Justinian, by written decree that went into effect in 538 A.D., the Bible Societies sprang up, in America and England by 1805, very quickly allowing free access to the Bible world-wide. Bible students began to compare the time prophecies of Rev. 12 and 13 and those of Dan. 12, with this text in Second Thessalonians. Daniel’s book was to be “shut up and sealed” (not understood) till the “time of the end.” Dan.12:4,9. When would that be? Verse 7 – until “a time, times, and an half.”
It is the “times” in the book of Daniel that were not understood; until 1798, when the “beast” received his “mortal wound” (Rev.13:3) and was “taken out of the way.” [of the Bible!]
The key to all of these time prophecies is to compare every verse about these “times” with the others, “line upon line,” while applying history to them. (Principle – Prophecy is History in advance!) History revealed that the Papacy was “taken out of the way” exactly 1260 years after he received the power, by the Emperor’s decree, to persecute all who dared question his dogmas. Rev.12:6 compared with Rev.12:14 reveals that “a time, times, and half a time” is 1260 prophetic days. Further, Rev.13:5 reveals that 42 prophetic months is also 1260 days. Therefore, a “time” is a prophetic year, containing the then used length of a year, 360 days. Thus, a “time” – 360 days; two “times” – 360 + 360= 720 days; plus 1/2 a “time” – 180 days = 1260 days. Or, 42 months X 30 days = 1260 days.
History had now revealed that 1260 days is 1260 years in prophecy! It was soon found that Ezekiel 4:6 and Numbers 14:34 confirm that a prophetic “day” is a literal year!
Numbers 14:34 is about the arrival of the Exodus at the entry to the Promised Land, but they lost faith and refused to go forward, after spying out the land. It says, Numbers 14, verse 34, “After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know My breach of promise.”
The second one is Ezekiel 4:6. There the Scripture says, “And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year.”
The Papacy was revealed to be not only the “beast,” of Revelation, chapters 13, 14 and 17; and “the man of sin,” of Second Thessalonians 2, but also the “little horn” in Daniel, by this 1260 day (year) prophecy!
He is the one whose “mark” we must avoid, and whose “image” we must not worship (Rev.14:9-11) or lose eternal life!
Just here, I must make my position very clear. It is the Papal system, which combines religion and the power of the state (to enforce its dogmatic decrees regarding doctrines [teachings] of the church) that is Babylon the Great, the FALLEN church. I believe that all Catholics, and the people of the Protestant daughter churches of the Catholic church, are capable of receiving salvation in Christ, even to the pope himself! But the Papal system of worship is FALLEN, according to the Second Angel’s Message – Rev.14:8.
God is calling everyone out of its confusion of doctrine (darkness) into His marvelous light! So states the First letter of Peter, chapter 2, verse 9. The “man of sin” was revealed; and the “falling away” under the teachings of the Papacy had become obvious.
He was most solidly revealed by Daniel 7:25: “He shall speak great words against the most High and shall wear out the saints of the most high, and think to change times and laws…and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time!”
No longer, after 1798, could the Papacy seek to change the (prophetic) “times” that pointed to the Papal religio-political system as the “little horn” in Daniel, and also the “beast” in Revelation, and, to the pope as “the man of sin!”
Further, its changes to the “law” (the Law of God, the Ten Commandments) also were unveiled! The Papacy had removed the 2nd Commandment from the 10, and split the 10th into two Commandments to make up the 10 (see a Catechism from the Roman Catholic church). The 2nd Commandment says not to make any graven image and bow down to worship it! Exodus 20, verses 4 and 5, the Second Commandment, says: “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image…nor bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I, the Lord thy God am a jealous God…” Mary is the Papal image [idol] the “image of the beast” instituted by the bishop of Rome by 325 A.D., warned against in Rev.14:9! See Daniel 11:38, and its context,verses 36 – 39!
And that’s not all that he thought to change!!
The 4th Commandment was also changed, transferring the solemnities of Sabbath, the 7th day of the week, to the first day of the week, Sunday! The Catholic church boasts that it is the “mark” (their own very word!) of her power that the Papacy could change even the Law of God! Thus he shows that he is god!
“Sin is the transgression (breaking) of the Law” [of God] – 1st John 3:4 – this is the Biblical definition!
Thus it is my opinion, based on my study of the Biblical data, that:
The Papacy is the “little horn” in Daniel and the “beast” warned against in Revelation 14; that the pope is the “man of sin,” that his “image” is the idols of Mary that they worship, and, that his “mark” is the change of the Commandment Sabbath to Sunday
as the day of worship!
Also, “the time of the end” began in 1798! Daniel 12:4 and 7.
Since all this has been revealed, The day of Christ is “at hand!!”
Further, consider the Great Tribulation, of which Jesus spoke in Matthew 24:29, where He said, “Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory” [the Advent!]- means Second Coming of Jesus.
These signs were to follow the “tribulation of those days” [1260 prophetic days]! That tribulation was the 1260 years of Papal oppression of true Christians! For 1260 terrible years the pope was given power to be “the corrector of heretics,” by torture, beheading, or the burning stake!
Those signs followed, just as Jesus predicted, as the Tribulation was coming to an end, and Jesus shortened the time of persecution, or “no flesh would be saved,” by causing the Reformation to interfere with the Papal Inquisition! Also, the true believers in the Gospel fled to America, and “the earth swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.” ( Rev.12:16).
By 1830, the other great time prophecies of Daniel were unsealed, further revealing the soon coming of Jesus in the Second Advent.
As we will see in the document Present Truth (of this series) the 2300 days (years) of Dan.8:14 revealed the very date of the “cleansing of the Sanctuary,” October 22, 1844, which, it was discovered, was the beginning of Judgment Day just before Jesus comes! It was in free America that the book of Daniel was fully unsealed. The warnings of Rev.14:6-12, those Three Angel Messages, are now “Present Truth” for the “hour of His Judgment is come,” Rev.14:7! We are in “the time of the end!” We are in the Judgment hour!! We shall all come before the judgment seat of Christ (see Romans 14:10) prior to His Coming or Advent, for His “reward is with [Him], to give every man according as his work shall be.” Rev. 22:12.
Prepare now to meet thy God!! Rev. 14:12 says, “…keep the Commandments of God and have the faith of Jesus” – faith in the Bible. “Worship Him who made heaven and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters” – not the “beast” nor his “image.” Rev.14:7 and 9.
Now is the day of salvation!
According to Isaiah 59:1 and 2, we cannot have a relationship with Jesus if we continue in sin! It says there: “Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: but your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you, that He will not hear.”
Adventists (believers in the soon Coming of Jesus) say, “We are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us; we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin: that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him!” (2 Corinthians 5:20, 21). “For we must all appear before the Judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” (verse 10)
“Whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all…If you commit no adultery, yet if you kill, you are become a transgressor of the law. So speak, and so do, as they that shall be Judged by the Law…” (James 2:8-12). Compare that with James 1:25, where he says, “Whoso looks into the perfect Law of liberty, and continues therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.”
The 10 Commandments is the Standard in the Judgment of all mankind. Will you continue to worship the Papacy, as a god, by keeping his commandments (as he thought to change God’s Ten Commandments)??
Will you receive, by your conscious choice, his “mark” (his false Sabbath)?? Have you been, or will you be, deceived into worshipping his “image,” idols of Mary??
We beseech you, in Christ’s stead, come out of Babylon and out of her daughters also!
“Come out of her, My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues!” Rev.18:4.

Lord Jesus! I see now that Your Second Coming is “at the very doors!” I now realize that most of the world is deceived by the Papal “beast” power, and that I must come out of the confusion of doctrine (teachings) that is in the world and into Your marvelous light!
