11_05 Addendum Are You Ready for the Loud Cry

The new Prophetic Movement, to stand up against the combining of church and state,
(the situation will be just as it was in the Dark Ages, when the pope was the king
of kings – will we learn the lesson from history, before it’s too late??)…the new
Prophetic Movement is already at work (the Seventh-day Adventist Movement). Since
“the hour of His Judgment” began, in 1844, that Movement has matured into a world- wide (about 17 million believers strong) Reformation back to the keeping of the Commandments of God, by faith in the Bible, as the Word of God, which was the faith Jesus had. “Here are they that keep the Commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”
Also, “The Dragon was wroth with the woman, (the church that truly follows Christ) and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the Commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” Revelation 14:12 and Revelation 12:17!
It was John, the beloved disciple of Jesus, “Who bare record of (wrote) the Word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.” – Revelation!

Will you prepare to do your part, in your corner of the world?

Scripture Text: Revelation 14:9-12
Title: Are You Ready for the Loud Cry
of the Third Angel?

At least twice, late in her lifetime, Ellen White received visions in which she saw balls of fire fall from the sky, and she wrote about them on at least four occasions. I will quote from one of them, written in 1904:
Last night a scene was presented before me. I may never feel free to reveal all of it, but I will reveal a little. It seemed that immense balls of fire came down upon the world, and crushed large houses. From place to place rose the cry, “The Lord has come! The Lord has come!” Many were unprepared to meet Him, but a few were saying, “Praise the Lord!”
“Why are you praising the Lord?” inquired those upon whom was coming sudden
destruction.
“Because we now see what we have been looking for!”
“If you believed these things were coming, why did you not tell us?” was the terrible response. “We did not know about these things. Why did you leave us in ignorance? Again and again you have seen us: why did you not become acquainted
with us, and tell us of the judgment to come, and that we must serve God, lest we
perish? Now we are lost!” That was written the second of July, 1904. What an indictment! The Trumpets of Revelation 8 and 9 are that coming Great Calamity! Do you know anything about the Trumpets? Will you be accused in this manner, because you didn’t prepare yourself to know your message and be ready for “the loud cry of the 3rd angel?”

Do you know your message, that Jesus has given us? How will you present it?
Where should you begin? I suggest we should begin where it began historically. Our message began with the heralding of the soon return of Jesus, didn’t it?

What were the first signs pointing to the Second Advent of Jesus? Anyone? I’ll give you a clue. There are 3 of them. What was the first one?
In 1755, there was a huge earthquake centered in Lisbon, Portugal that affected 4 million square miles. 90,000 perished in Lisbon alone. Many cities were destroyed. The worst hit were Portugal, Spain, and North Africa. It was felt even in North America! 1755.

But time ticked on. Twenty-five years passed. Then came the second sign. When?
The first one was 1755. The second, 1780.
The Dark Day covered the entirety of New England (early America) from 10 in the morning till 1 A.M. the next night. People were filled with fear that the Judgment Day was at hand, a very general opinion. The full moon appeared finally, but it was blood red! There was no mistaking this sign! The newspapers of the day shouted “This is the second sign of the soon return of Jesus!”
But time ticked on.
Over 50 years passed this time. Most of the generation that had seen the second sign passed away. The intense interest was forgotten.
In 1831, William Miller began to give a seminar series that unsealed the book of Daniel. Two years into that movement, the third sign occurred. What date? 1833. What was the third sign?
Again centered over Protestant early America, the New England states, a falling of the stars such as had never been recorded before occurred in 1833, just two years after William Miller began to preach the Judgment Day at hand and the return of Jesus in the Second Advent. The Great Awakening had begun!

Now: a most important question: What unsealed the book of Daniel? Yes, it was that in prophecy, a prophetic “day” is a literal year!
Because of William Miller’s Bible seminars, and now the Third Sign, many thousands world-wide turned to a study of the prophecy of Daniel 8, verse 14.
As the time Miller preached, 1843, came, others revealed a mistake in his
reckoning of the date and finally settled on the very day of the Judgment hour:
October 22, 1844.
But the time passed, without the return of Jesus. Disappointment caused many to fall away. And time ticked on. The mistake was explained. The Sanctuary in heaven was opened (Revelation11, v. 19). The Investigative Judgment, which began in 1844, was received by the faithful who became a new movement, especially when new Bible truth was unveiled and the Sabbath was discovered.

Who changed the Sabbath to Sunday? The answer opened the 3rd Angel’s Message!
The Seventh-day Adventist Movement began.
The Judgment hour had but begun, and would take quite some time, because the books of record in heaven were opened to the whole heavenly court. Daniel 7, verse 10, the last part, says, “…the Judgment was set, and the books were opened!”
God could have completed the Investigative Judgment in a moment couldn’t He? This way would take quite a bit of time – more time than a few more generations. See Job, chapter 1, for a description of heaven’s meetings!
More truth was to be unveiled. The “man of sin” was revealed, as the apostle Paul predicted in 2 Thess. 2, v. 3, when a year for a prophetic day revealed that the Papacy was the “man of sin.” The 1260-day prophecy pointed him out unmistakably!
He was “taken out of the way” exactly 1260 years after he was made a “pope!”

That was another sign of Jesus’ soon return! – the Kingdom of Jesus is at hand!!

Can you explain the 2300-day prophecy, with the relevant history? How about the 1260-day prophecy? Can you explain it to someone, with the relevant history?
People, we must be able to explain both time prophecies because of their relevance to our message. When did the 1260 days begin? When? (538 A.D.) When did it end? (1798 – exactly 1260 years).
Here’s what marked its beginning: the decree of Justinian, Roman Emperor, that the bishop of Rome was to be head of the whole church for the empire – a pope
– and, he was to be “the corrector of heretics.” NOTE THAT WELL.

What event marked its end? He was “taken out of the way,” (2 Thess. 2, v. 7) by Napoleon’s army. Now here’s the important question – What did it reveal him to be? (The “man of sin”). Why do the Scriptures call him the “man of sin?” What is the Bible definition of sin? – The transgression or breaking of God’s Law. 1st John 3, v.4.
His great sins have also been “revealed!” He “forsook the Holy Covenant” (Daniel 11, v.30). The Covenant is in the Ark of the Covenant – the 10 Commandments! He thought to change the very law of God (Daniel 7:25) thus claiming authority above the Creator God! – and thereby make himself a god!

What Laws did he think to change? After he took the Bible away from the people, he replaced it with the Catechism. In it, he removed the Second Commandment,
that against worship of idols or images, because he replaced the gods and goddesses of the Pagans with his “image,” MARY, whose image is still today worshipped around the world, and in homes all around us, despite the Second Commandment! He also changed the Sabbath Commandment, to the veneration of Sunday. Because he is revealed, the day of Christ is at hand!

The 1260-day prophecy also revealed that He is both the “little horn,” of Daniel,
and the “beast” power warned against in Rev. 14! (See Rev. 13, v. 5 – 42 months,
times 30 days-to-a-month = 1260 days.)
At least two things, then, make this time prophecy relevant to our message. False worship, of the “beast” and his “image” is one. The other, the changes to the Law of God! Don’t ever forget these things. But remember also: the day of Christ really is at hand!

People, we must also be able to explain the 2300 day prophecy, with its relevant history, because of its relevance to our Revelation 14 Message that “The Hour of His Judgment is come!” What date did it begin? (457 B.C.) And when did it end? (1844 A.D.) We find the answers in Daniel 9. Remember that a year for a prophetic “day” was the discovery that unsealed time prophecies! Daniel 9’s 69 weeks unto Messiah, was 69 weeks, or 69 sevens, of years, from the decree to rebuild and restore Jerusalem. Where do you find that very decree written in the Bible? (Ezra chapter 7). Thus 1844, the end of the 2300 days, was made certain by the events of Jesus’ first coming!

Over thirty-five years ago, I became a Seventh-day Adventist because of this
prophecy. The “cleansing of the Sanctuary,” (Dan. 8:14) turns out to be the
Judgment hour according to Leviticus 16, verse 30! So, “the hour of His Judgment
is come!”

You should be using these time prophecies to reveal where we are in prophetic
history. We are in “the time of the end,” according to Dan. 12, vs. 4 and 7. It too
began in 1798, at the end of 3 and 1/2 prophetic years, 42 prophetic months, or also 1260 prophetic days!
We are also in the Judgment hour!! That also makes the 3 Angel’s Messages
“Present Truth!” The history of the Advent movement is strong proof of these
Messages being “right on” now!

Friends, do you now realize that you need to have material at hand to present
to others when you proclaim our message?

You need a pamphlet study of the 3 signs of Jesus’ Coming or Advent. You need the Bible lesson pamphlet study of the 2300 day prophecy. You need a chart to work your way through the math of the prophecy. You need a chart of Daniel 8 and 9 revealing that the Judgment hour is about the Judgment of the Christian churches! They have been declared “fallen” by Jesus. Like John the Baptist you are to “lay the axe to the root of the trees” – the denominations! You need a pamphlet study of the “man of sin” as further proof that Jesus is at the very doors!
You also need a pamphlet study of the history of the Advent Movement to show
its having been developed by God to teach the 3 angel’s messages to the rest of the
world!
People, it is the written word that really convinces. Our verbal arguments allow too many mistakes, too many points to be missed, too many poor choices of words to explain clearly.
It is for this reason that I believe that I am called to teach our Message to Adventists. I have acquired the knowledge needed, through ministry education in
Canadian University College and Andrews University, as well as much work as a
theologian and itinerant preacher, so that I could make such materials available
to you.
But friends, many today are like the Jews of old. Many are Adventist only in name, but not in action. They are not preparing for the loud cry of the 3rd Angel. They are soaking up the truth, but are happy to sit in their exclusive church, failing to be either hot or cold. Are you one of them? You must look at that question in the mirror of your life.
Do you want to serve Jesus by doing what He has revealed our work to be? Will you study to show yourself approved of God? Will you be an Elijah of these last days?

If you don’t have a computer, go to the library, where instruction is given, on available computers, to help you find and download from the website. It’s easy!

People, time has ticked on. But the clock is now at a part of a minute before 12! The coming great calamity, the Trumpets of Rev. 8 and 9, is but a moment away. Will someone ask you “Why didn’t you warn us? Now we are lost!” because you didn’t even know your Message, that Jesus has given us, let alone proclaim it?

Because we are at the end of all things for this world, our message is large. It is filled with many Bible truths and prophecies, and a whole lot of history. You must teach the history of the Millerite and Adventist movements, as they developed, that revealed who the “beast” is, and what his “image,” and his “mark” are. You must get people to look at the question, “What is the Everlasting Gospel?” It is different than the gospel that is believed by the rest of the Christian world! Also, “What does baptism really mean?” Then, “What is the fire called down from heaven by the “false prophet?” What are we watching for??

The time is coming, and now is, when we must be the Elijah to Spiritual Israel,
which includes the believers around us of every denomination, including the Jews.
What will happen to those of us who remain neither hot nor cold?

People, printing technology has taken another quantum leap with the day of the personal computer for writing and editing, and the photocopier to get the materials to everyone. Are you willing to do the photocopying for your interests, even when they want pamphlets to share with interests they meet? And is each of you willing to cover the cost out of your own pocket? Photocopying is not terribly expensive. Be prepared to expend your means for the service of our Lord Jesus!

As a Sabbath School teacher for many years, I have seen first hand that most
Adventists really need to get their Message together. I believe that I am sent to
teach Adventists their Message, for the work of their ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come into the unity of the faith needed in this fateful hour. Our Message is not going to be carried to the world only by the paid ministry. The real job is ours!
