The Gospel of Salvation

Let’s carefully review the Steps to Salvation: Reader, be sure to apply them to yourself!!
First, I want to tell you how blessed I feel for having been led, by God, out of the darkness of this world into His marvelous light, the Light of Truth – provable truth.

Does that testimony from me awaken a spiritual interest in you? I want you to know that God has revealed an up-to-date Message for our day in salvation history. It was revealed in a time prophecy, Daniel 8, verse 14, that came to fulfillment in 1844. It taught that we are in the hour of God’s Judgment of all that have lived on earth (ending with those who are living still) a pre-Return-of-Jesus Judgment. (When He comes, “My reward is with Me!” – Rev. 22:12). The time prophecy fulfillment led to Revelation 14:6 and 7. Lets turn to that text. (Read) Notice: These messages from heaven are because the hour of His Judgment is come! Also, NOTE that the first part is that the Everlasting Gospel must be preached to everyone on earth. 1844 was just after the Dark Ages (when the Papal Catholic Church kept the truths of the Bible from the people, until the Papacy received his “mortal wound” in 1798 – Rev. 13:3). Then, the Bible was finally freely given to the people of the British Empire (much of the world) in English, by the British Bible Society, beginning in 1805, with the King James Version of the Bible. Soon after, the American Bible Society furthered that work in America. The KJV has now been translated into every language in the entire world! The Papal church, and also the Protestant churches, have LOST the True Gospel: and they have all replaced the true with a FALSE gospel! (the Protestant churches developed out of the Papal church, and did not discover the True Gospel).

After 1844, the True Gospel was re-discovered! Matthew 1:21 says that Jesus came to save us from our sins. We are to pray to Him for overcoming power. Read 1 John 1:9! Rev. 2:7, 11 The priests of Catholicism, nor the ministers of Protestantism, have the ability to forgive sins, nor save us from our sins (“cleanse” us from our sins). Only Jesus can! He paid the price for our sins! – Romans 6:23 – “The wages of sin is death [eternal death], but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus.” “God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son [to us] that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlastng life!” Jesus came, not to condemn the world, but to save it! – John. 3:17. Jesus came to save us from our sins – Matthew 1:21 – not while we continue to choose to sin. What is the Biblical definition of sin? The people don’t know that basic fact! Here it is: “Sin is the transgression [breaking] of the Law” (of God, of course) – the 10 Commandments. – 1 John 3, verse 4 – [a letter by the apostle John, near the book of Revelation]. The terrible fact is, that ‘way back in 321 A.D., the Commandments were CHANGED by the bishops of Rome – Daniel 11:30, and that change continues to be observed today, in all of those churches! So, what is the change of the Commandments? The Fourth Commandment states, “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy…” Let’s read the whole Commandment, Exodus 20, verse 8. (Read). The Papacy “thought” to change the Law – Daniel 7:25. The Law of God is the principles of eternal life! No man, no power on earth, can change the Commandments of God! The people are being led to break the Fourth Commandment, replacing the Bible Sabbath, with the “Christian” sabbath – Sunday! The Everlasting Gospel, to be preached in all the world, is for us to RETURN to keeping the true Commandments! The people who proclaim this Message, are identified as “…here are they that keep the Commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus!” – Rev. 14, verse 12!

The Bible says we are to keep the Sabbath (like the Jews still do) on Saturday, the 7th day of the week. (The calendar is built on the Jewish 7-day week)! The churches say to keep Sunday, the 1st day of the week! All of them worship on Sunday, breaking the Sabbath Commandment! The Seventh-day Adventist church, which is now world wide, in every country, is proclaiming this Message! You are hearing it now! Is it important? The signs Jesus gave of His Return are fulfilling all around us, today. Jesus is soon to Return (Advent)! [Thus the name, Seventh-day Adventist].

Repent of your sins! Romans 3:23 – “…all have sinned, and come short of the glory [character] of God.” – the character like that of Jesus, who refused to sin. “If we confess our sins [to Jesus] – I John 1:9 – He is faithful and just, to forgive us our sins, AND, to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” He wants to transform our character, and make us good, like Jesus! Do you want that? This is a promise, that He will do it, in us. Here’s HOW! John, chapter 14:15 to 18 (READ!) Jesus will come into you, through Holy Spirit!!
Next, and this is very important, Romans 6, verse 23 – “The wages of sin is death” – eternal death. “But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus!” If we choose to continue to sin, we cannot have eternal life. Sin must be overcome! Can we do it? Through Jesus, in us, we can! – Revelation 2:7, 11, 17, 26; Rev. 3:5, 12, and 21 (READ). Right up through time (signified by the letters to the 7 church periods), people were overcomers! Romans 3, verse 25 (Read) needs to be seen here, next. “All of our past sins, everything wrong we have ever done, if we repent of them, and are baptized, can be covered by faith in the blood of Jesus, who died to pay the penalty of sin for us! 2 Corinthians 5, verse 21 – “For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God, in Him!” Acts 4, verse 12: There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved! The sacrifice of Jesus is the ONLY means by which we can receive salvation from sin. God says so! It is Their answer to the reconciliation of man to God.
Revelation 3:21 (Read) – This is how to overcome sin; it is as Jesus overcame – filled with, and obeying the will of, Holy Spirit! Colossians chapter 1, verse 27 – The Bible says, “Christ in you is the hope of glory!” James, chapter 4, verse 7 (Read). – Put Jesus on the throne in our minds,, and submit to His will, as it is outlined in the 10 Commandments – Exodus 20. “Submit yourself to God: resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you!” Finally, to set the truth solidly in your mind: Matthew 19:16 – 19 (Read). “What good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?” We, the remnant of the people of God, at this time in the history of the earth, are they that “keep the Commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ” – Rev. 12:17 [and thus, understand the prophecies that deal with the Second and Third Angel’s Messages]! – Revelation 1, verse 1 (Read) [Which necessarily includes Daniel’s book – neither one is complete without the other]. Both come from Jesus, and the Spirit of prophecy – see Revelation 19:10.

Will YOU receive Jesus into your heart? Revelation 3:20 (Read). Jesus is standing at the door of your heart, and knocking! Will you ask Him to come in, to make YOUR COVENANT with Him? The meal is the Covenant meal – the Lord’s Supper! If you keep His Commandments, He promises to be your God! – [the Covenant].

Jesus, I need You in my life…I want Your gift of eternal life…which is only through You. Please enter my life right now…according to Your promise…I open the door of my life to invite You in…because I know that You are knocking. Amen. [Keep your copy of this paper, and sign it. It is your Covenant with God]! [Your “Amen” means, “So let it be;” and, according to His promise, Jesus has right now, entered into your life!] Welcome to the family of God! Jesus wants to spend time with you, from now on, teaching you Truth from His Word, the Bible. Document #04_02, The Plan of Salvation, is an attempt to make more clear that we must personally make a Covenant with our Tri-une God-head, to actuate Their Plan in our personal life. This is the DOOR by which we must enter to receive eternal life in Jesus. It is both legal in nature, and spiritual in nature, received, in both forms, by faith in the sacrificial death of the Lamb of God, Jesus, the Son of God.

THE PLAN OF SALVATION

NOTE: You must have Bible in hand, to read each reference verse!

Sin is: (definition in the Bible) “…the transgression (breaking of) the Law.” (the Ten Commandment Law) – 1^st letter of John, ch. 3, verse 4. Man’s laws are changed all the time, but God’s Law is written on stone – [un-changeable] by the very finger of God! – Exodus 31, v. 18.

“The wages of sin is death [eternal death]; BUT the gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord” – (our King) – Romans 6, verse 23.

“All have sinned, and come short of the glory [character] of God.” – Romans 3:23. Therefore everyone born on this earth is a sinner. Jesus Himself said that “the Scripture cannot be broken.” – John 10, verse 35. What it declares, no one has been able to show to be wrong. All of us need salvation.
We have a fallen nature, genetically inherited from Adam and Eve.

God has provided the only legal Way of Salvation.
It requires a Covenant:
(a contract: theological term: The promise of God to bless those who obey Him, sealed by their baptism – Dictionary) – John 3:5; Acts 2:38. God [Jesus, our Creator-God! See John 1, verses 1 – 3, 10 and 14!] wrote the stipulations of the Holy Covenant, on stone (unchangeable) with His own finger. They are the two tablets of the Commandments, that were put in the Ark of the Covenant (thus they are the Covenant).

This golden box had two angels, one on each end, looking down through the transparent gold lid [see Revelation 21, verse 21] of the Ark of the Covenant, onto those 10 Commandments. Those angels represent Justice [prosecuting attorney] and Mercy [defense attorney]. Psalm 85:10 – In God’s Court, Justice and Mercy must mingle together for true justice to be achieved. Thus they “kiss each other.” – their wings touch.

God’s Investigative Judgment of our lives – Revelation 22:12 – is based on our relation to those 10 Commandments, the principles of eternal life. – James 2:10-12. We can only accept, or reject, His Covenant, which Jesus and the Father designed as the only Way of Salvation possible. If the Law could have been changed to save us, Jesus would not have had to die in our place, on that cruel cross! He is our Divine Substitute! – 2 Corinthians 5:21 (READ)!

By our love for Jesus, in gratitude for what He went through on the cross in order to save us, Holy Spirit writes the Commandments (the stipulations of the Covenant) on our hearts, as well as on our minds, if we desire to keep His Commandments. – Hebrews 10, v. 16; 10:26.
When tempted to sin, our submission to Holy Spirit’s will makes us capable, by His power, to refuse to sin. This is the proper place of our will! – Philippians chapter 2, verses 12 and 13; Revelation 3, verse 21.

Salvation, from sins that are past (Romans 3, verse 25) is based on His Grace, through our faith in the efficacy of the sacrifice of our heavenly King, Jesus, sealed by our baptism before many witnesses (the church). NOTE WELL: John 3:5.

Peter declared, in Acts, chapter 2, verse 38, “Repent [for being the cause of the death of Jesus] and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of sins [“remit,” law term – to refer (a legal proceeding) to a lower court [the heavenly Sanctuary!] for consideration – Dictionary] and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

My side of the Covenant can only be to declare, daily, hourly, minute by minute,     “I don’t want to sin, any sin, any more! I want to keep your Commandments. I need Your Holy Spirit, to guide me into full Salvation!” – See Revelation 22:14!

If, after baptism, we fall into sin, Jesus is our advocate (as our High Priest, in the heavenly Sanctuary) – 1John 2, verse 1.  If we confess that sin to Jesus, our record can be made clean again, while we learn to overcome sin – 1 John 1, verse 9. 

“Christ in you, [through the in-dwelling of Holy Spirit] is the hope of glory” – Heaven! NOTE Colossians 1, vs. 26, 27 – [renewed character, in the glory of Christ-likeness].
